Early Voting · October 29, 2026
DFW Noise matched the county's own early-voting rosters voter by voter. The turnout is surging past the last midterm, the lines are running up to two hours — and the voters in them lean Democratic.
FORT WORTH — Day 12 of early voting brought 62,656 in-person ballots in Tarrant County. Through Friday, October 30, 571,950 people have voted in person — running 47% ahead of the last midterm through Day 12 (389,285 in 2022). With mail ballots included, 593,072 ballots were already cast through Friday, October 30.
And voters are waiting for it: WFAA reported waits of up to two hours across Tarrant County on Day 1. The line at Summerglen Branch Library in north Fort Worth ran over an hour on Day 1 — and one voter there, Maria Fernandez Rodriguez, reported waiting exactly two hours on Day 2 before casting her ballot. They stayed in line.
DFW Noise's Early Vote Tracker matches every ballot cast against the county's primary rosters by voter ID. Of the ballots cast so far:
Primary history shows which party's primary ballot a voter pulled — in an open-primary state it's the clearest public signal of how the early electorate leans. It is not a record of how anyone voted in this election; those ballots are secret. Full methodology is on the tracker page.
Early voting has ended. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 7 AM–7 PM. Any Tarrant County voter can vote at any vote center.
